Course content
The course includes these items: Location and a shape of the CR. Status of the CR in the world. The CR on the maps. Czech statehood. Administration structure of the CR, its development and present situation. Population of the CR. The changes of population and its structure based on census 2001 and 2011. Settlement in the Czech Republic. The overall characterization of Czech economy, agriculture, forestry and water economy. Industrial production in the CR. Mining industry. Energy industry. Manufacturing industry. Inovations in industrial production. Transport and traffic networks. Tertiary sector. Tourism and recreation. Foreign Trade. Regions of the CR and their competitiveness.
