Course content
The subject is offered only for the students of the Faculty of Economics, University of West Bohemia. The content of the subject is the realisation of a professional international internship within the Erasmus programme or within the student's organisations AIESEC, IAESTE, etc. The minimum length of the internship is 10 weeks. The student may realise the internship during the academic year. The student has a posibility to find the internship in cooperation with the Centre for International Activities FEK UWB, with the International Office UWB or with student's organisations acting at UWB e.g. AIESEC, IAESTE.

Learning activities and teaching methods
One-to-One tutorial, Field trip
  • Individual project (40) - 60 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester
  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 450 hours per semester
prerequisite
Knowledge
To participace in the international internship, the student must prove an upper internediate knowledge of the foreign language requiered by the receiving institution. The requiered minimum level of foreign language knowledge is B2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Skills
The student is able to use knowledge gained in courses specialised in Economics and Business in realising activities requiered by the institution where he/she will carry out the inernational internship.

The student is able to work with professional information and to use it during the international internship. He/She is able to use information technologies in an efficient way.
