Course content
Urbanism, basic concepts and theories The development of urban construction from antiquity to the present Functional components of settlements (housing, production, civic amenities, transport, greenery, recreation, technical infrastructure) Spatial planning - development, legislation, actors, tools, the process of creating spatial planning documentation and documents, regulations Territorial development policy (Czech Republic), Principles of territorial development (regions), territorial plan, regulatory plan Strategic planning of urban and regional development (specifics, procedures, public participation, etc.) Problems of spatial and strategic planning and possibilities of their solution
