Course content
1. - 13. To students is assigned several tasks during the semester. Especially long-term tasks like graphical edit a book and its typesetting. Student continuously consults the work and submits sketches as trial printouts. Student consults with teacher: - compositional principles page, -optical of typesetting, - relation between individual elements, relation between text and picture, - combine and putting together letters, - typographical rules, typesetting in Adobe InDesign programme and its advanced setting for professional typesetting.

to individually compare and analyze different artistic expressions of typographic character by criteria of esthetics, semiotics and technique on professional level , to specify advanced knowledge of supporting arts disciplines, mostly typography and its forms, to know commond and unconventional usage of characters and typography, text composition and different forms of characters, of advanced possibilities of typography for presentation of own work,
Skills
to realize own vizual expression in suitable way including its text part and its visualization - posters, powerpoint oe internet presentation, catalogue, invitation, etc. and to find other ways of their usage, to show ability to solve design of vizualization of works of art in combination of text and other visually semanthic means on advanced level, to show own creativity on generally assigned task, to show the will to find different artistic solutions, alter them and constructivelly evaluate, to work independently and activelly and flexibly react to evaluating commentary of the teacher,

of choosing and graphical editing of text with erudition on task, format, etc., to choose from different stereotypical options and alter them, to follow the rules of professional presentation of own or others work by visual means, to use advanced rules fo choosing a font and graphical editing based on criteria of aesthetics, logics, etc., solve the appropriate level of visual design according to their study orientation, to present own artistic work - posters, powerpoint oe internet presentation, catalogue, invitation, etc., to plan bigger project and to take into account several different criteria based on a task - targeted group, purpose of presentation, etc.,
