Course content
1. Introduction to the subject field. 2. Studies of the work procedures according to the given task. 3. Collective preparation, solving the concept, suggestions, structure of the student´s own project. 4. Practicing composition, 2D and 3D relations. 5. Symbol, ornament and artistic stylization. 6. Type as the only artistic means. 7. Experimental typography. 8. Accidental produce. 9. Book produce. 10. Magazine and newspaper produce. 11. Pre-press preparation, export, communication with the printer. 12. Student´s own project finalization. 13. Written defence of student´s own project.

Describe relations of artistic, informative and technological effect on the result of the realized task.
Explain the relation of form and content depending on the given task.
Explain the importance of pre-print preparation - recognize elementary history connections.
Skills
Comprehend the importance of preparations and co-ordination of work procedures.
Use and incorporate suitable compositional elements and signs relevant to the task.
Recognize and corretly apply both flat and spatial form relations, deal with typography correctly, respect the rules of type and typography.
Incorporate and modify handcrafted elements (drawing, painting, photography).
Work out basic printed matters to final version, skillfully deal with graphic and typing editors.
