Course content
01 - introduction to the subject, basics of occupational safety, task assignment for semester credit work, basic briefing 02 - examples of sample prints and technological print options, familiarization with machine control options, joint group seminar assignment (poster), test print 03-04 - Graphic design, data preparation and print realization of your own small-scale semester project (e.g. postcard) Using photography and color printing of 4 or more colors 05-06 - Graphic design, data preparation and print realization of your own small-scale semester project (e.g. Graphic sheet) Using surface illustration and color printing min. 2 colors 07-08 - Concept of the project, preparation of print data and print realization of the group semester project, multi-page publications/author's brochures/Zine according to the teacher's previous specification 09 - Own free experimental assignment of a small scale deepening the author's experience with machine control and data preparation for Risograph 09-10 - preparation and consultation of a semester assignment on one's own topic, preparation of graphic materials and print data 11-12 - independent implementation of a semester task, printing and finishing work according to specific requirements based on the own topic of a specific project 13 - submission

At the basic level, compare and analyze various artistic expressions from an aesthetic, semiotic and technical point of view, specify basic knowledge from supporting artistic disciplines, demonstrate basic knowledge of visual and stylistic canons within the framework of the development of visual and applied arts.

Ability to cooperate in joint tasks. Ability to work independently on own assignments. Basic ability to control graphic editors and work with a PC.

Knowledge
The student understands the position of this graphic discipline in the historical context, the relationship to other disciplines and the use of the same principle in polygraphic practice. Based on the completion of individual practical exercises, he can identify individual work procedures leading to independent implementation. The student can choose the optimal means to realize his creative intention. Independently think about individual work procedures, so that they lead to the re-creation of one's own realization and independent control of the printing machine and work with printing material. They will understand the relationships between related techniques and the possibilities of experimenting and combining graphic, printing and reproduction technologies.

Choose the optimal means to realize your creative intention and choose the most suitable procedure, independently use the basic graphic procedures, tools and materials used in this graphic discipline in your own work, plan and cooperate to develop a group project using the means of expression of this graphic discipline, can independently use basic polygraphic terminology.
