Course content
1.-13. 1. The project assignment: form: comics, topic - connected with a particular person, exhibition, film, book, ETA., script preparation. 2. -13. Working out the script or scenario, getting the aesthetic shape of the comics (composition, the windows shapes, expression), expressing the character e.g. of a person - portreit, drawing the period artefacts, sketching the figure in motion, figure and its environment, composing the whole, working out details, solution - half-title, title, colophon, covers, typografy, print preparation. Continuous assignment and completing partial seminar tasks. Lectures by the tutor or an invited specialist on specific topics during lessons when possible. Assigning a free theme lecture by the student to prepare when possible ( in order to practice his/her own rhetorics, orderliness in his/her preparation for others and getting a bigger volume of information).

Knowledge
o recognize the basic drawing and painting elements and their funcionality in the creative process (point, area, color, modelation, lights and shadows), to show knowledge of basig theoretical patterns of imaging spacial objects into surface (linear perspective) and of a human body, to recall basic technical and technological procedures of basic painting methods, reproduce the names and definitions of the basic building elements of the visual language in illustrating art
Skills
make drawing sketches of their own compositional designs by hands free in basic graphic editors, develop research on the topic, to handle basics of figural drawing and its stylization,

Knowledge
basic expressive means for creating comic narratives, different ways of linear and nonlinear chaining of the story and its dramatization, the possible ways of adjusting the comic with regard to its function and at the same time its visual appeal
Skills
the student will be equipped with the competencies for creating comic narratives, can compile a scenario, will be able to create the composition of the overall image, choose the corresponding shot of the view (whole, detail, ceiling, overhead) he can express and use the movement of a figure with a drawing to express movement, emotion, can solve the comics as a whole (including graphic design), and its print form
