Course content
The course takes into account the focus of individual dissertations of individual students. Course content: - Introduction to academic publishing (importance of publications in doctoral studies, types of academic publications, selection of a suitable periodical) - The structure of a professional article - Formal and linguistic requirements - Work with the review process (peer-review, peer reviews) - Individual feedback on upcoming articles - Possibilities of publication in Czech and foreign magazines

Knowledge
To successfully master the subject, it is assumed that the student is able to: orient yourself in the basic terminology of research in the field of visual art, describe the theoretical and methodological framework of your own doctoral project, identify relevant professional sources and work with professional literature in the given field.

In order to successfully master the subject, it is assumed that the student will be able to: formulate a research question or problem within your doctoral project, summarize the results of your research so far in a structured way, use professional language to express ideas clearly and logically in writing.

Knowledge
After completing the course, the student demonstrates knowledge of: principles and structure of a professional article intended for peer-reviewed journals or conferences, the publication process and the demands placed on a professional text in various types of periodicals, principles of scientific argumentation, citation and work with professional literature in the context of creative research.
Skills
After completing the course, the student demonstrates the skills: prepare and structure the manuscript of a professional article presenting the results of the research, use the knowledge gained and feedback when formulating a professional text for the review process, identify suitable publishing platforms and adapt the text to their requirements.
