Course content
1st The beginnings of Christianity, the beginnings of Islam, the Bible and the Koran 2nd First contacts and the first problems in the relationship of Christianity, Islam 3rd So-called crusade I. 4th So-called crusade II. 5th Islam on European soil 6th Turkish expansion 7th 19th century and colonialism 8th Development in the 19th century in Muslim countries 9th Islam and Europe in the 20th Century 10th The question of multiculturalism and democracy in relation to Islam 11th The rise of Muslim minorities in contemporary Europe 12th The Holy Land - The Relationship of Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Knowledge
to have general knowlidge about religion and belief and to know something about the holy scriptures of the three biggest monoteistic religions (the Holy Bible, Koran).
