Knowledge
to focus partly on some of the auxiliary sciences of history: diplomatics, paleography, epigraphy, heraldry, faleristics, and apply this knowledge in the study of scholarly texts, and to apply them in research activities.
Skills
to apply theoretical knowledge in practical research, to read with an understanding of historical sources, to orientate in historical chronology, to classify and critically interpret the historical source, to assess the relevance of the source.

Knowledge
understands the professional terminology and correctly uses it, demonstrates the theoretical knowledge in the following disciplines: sigragistics, numismatics, development of coinage systems in the Czech lands, chronology, historical metrology, genealogy, codicology
Skills
reads Czech written texts in neo-Gothic style, distinguishes and compares basic types and types of diplomatic material, recognizes individual parts of the document, blases the coat of arms, recognizes the basic types of historical coins, correctly describes the seal and identifies the potential owner, builds the family tree of the selected family. These specific skills apply not only in their own historical research, but also in teaching at school
