Course content
The problems of the rhythmical education (the development of the rhythmical ability with the regard to the psychological and didactic aspects, the examples of methodical procedures). The significance of playing the soprano fipple flute and its utilization in the musically-educational process. The listening competencies of the pupil and their effective development. The music teaching as the essential part of the complex musical education with the help of the mobilization method with the respect to the relation to the development of pupil?s cognitive and performance needs. The instrumental activities in the musical education, creating of the song accompaniments (the simple scores ? Orff?s armamentarium). The instrumental competencies. Musically-motional activities at the 1st grade of the primary school, their significance. Motional games musically-didactic techniques. Musically-motional competencies. The possibility of the out-of-class and out-of-school musical education. Musical programme for children. The competency of the choir singing and the instrumental circles. The organization of the teaching process at the 1st grade of the primary school from the viewpoint of the educational and pedagogical strategies RVP and ŠVP with the focus to their differences, the analysis of pupil?s crucial competencies in the musical education including the evaluation of the pupils and the teacher. The motivation of the pupil with the respect to his/her needs and their updating in the education of the musical diagnostics. The understanding the significance of the musical education course at the school also from the broader social context. The forms and the style of pupil?s evaluation in the musically-educational process, the evaluation of the individual music abilities.

Knowledge
Active participation in the lectures and seminars. Handling the playing the soprano fipple flute in the range of 1st part of the L. Daniel?s school, singing, auscultatory, instrumental and musically-motional skills. The student elaborates the preparation for the music lesson, where s/he applies the practice of the song with the imitation/intonation method, the work with the listened composition and with the supplemental instrumental and musically-motional activities. The student shall realize this preparation along with mobilization of the students, there will be also the reflection of own work. Examination: singing and playing the 70 songs from the textbooks for 1st ? 5th class of the primary school (Lišková-Hurník) including the transpositions into proper singing keys, the orientation in the theoretical fundament of the course. The examination goes as an interview over the theory, the application of the subject matter in the preparation for the teaching lesson of musical education, the starting music material for application are the songs chosen by the examinator.

Knowledge
Explain the importance and possibilities of functional interconnection of musical activities of vocal, listening, instrumental and musical motions in the musical education process.
To explain psychological starting points and methods of rhythmic education of children, taking into account didactic creativity.
Explain the methods and means of integration work with the listening composition.
Analyze musical expressions used in musical composition and assess which of them can be perceived by children on the basis of their musical and listening experience and skills.
Describe the main features of 20th century music and the creation of prominent representatives of this period.
Explain what we mean by the concept of musical theoretical knowledge in music education at elementary school level and by what methodical methods can children learn creatively.
Skills
Play on a keyboard and sing the designated songs for the 1st to 5th grade, both folk and artificial, with prelude and appropriate transpositions, in C, D, E, F major, d, e, and minor.
Create a simple instrumental accompaniment to the song using Orff's rhythmic and melodic instruments.
Design methodical procedures to develop children's musical creativity while working with song and listening, including movement in music and didactic games with music.
Acquire the selected song with a tonal intonation method.
To prepare a written preparation for a classroom with listening to music, with a view to the multifaceted activation of pupils and the development of their musical creativity and emotionality.
To analyze textbooks and methodological manuals, to critically approach them and to compare them in terms of their content, form and methodological procedures with respect to the RVP ZV.
