Prehistoric Music. Music of ancient cultures and antiquities Medieval music (5th-14th century) Renaissance music (15th-16th century)

Knowledge
To actively perceive and interpret the musical work in the context of historical, aesthetic, informative, formative and social aspects of reflection on the continuity of musical development.
Defining musical culture and musical historiography.
Explain the concept of a music epoch.
Characterize and time-class the individual epochs of Czech and world music development from the beginning to the end of the 16th century.
Skills
Defend assignment of the selected work to the corresponding development epoch.
To classify a particular piece of music historically, to determine its musical form.
On a particular example, it is possible to recognize and characterize the distinctive features of the music of individual developmental epochs from the beginning to the end of the 16th century.
To independently analyze and interpret the selected literary work.
