Course content
1. Introduction to the course, educational objective, study literature, assignment of the term paper, conditions for credit. 2. Introduction to music education. Musicality. Musical abilities and skills. Musical activities. Diagnosis of musical abilities in the context of pedagogical diagnostics in kindergarten. Contribution of musical activities to personal development including emotions and relationship to the arts. 3. Rhythm, metre, pulsation, tempo, momentum in the preparation of musical activities. Rhythmization and melodization of nursery rhymes, rhythmic speech, budgets. Verbal and sentence accent, musical accent. Benefits for speech development. 4. Musical instruments for children. Orff's instrumentarium and other instruments, rhythmic and melodic instruments. Contribution to the development of fine motor skills. 5.Musical means of expression. Application of the principles of contrast, gradation and repetition. The use of instruments in accordance with the means of musical expression - principles of instrumentation. 6. Musical movement education. Movement illustration, creation of movement parallels according to musical expressive means. Movement elements for simple choreography. Contribution to the development of gross motor skills. 7. Children's dance games. Didactic aids for musical movement activities - scarves, ribbons, parachute, sail, rope, toys. Contribution of music and movement education to orientation in space. 8. Creative workshop - voicing lyrics, own pop songs, support of musical expression, development of creativity. Making simple musical instruments. Use of everyday objects for musical purposes. 9. Excursion - visit to a music education institution or educational programme for children and reflection. 10. Practice. Reflection practice. Evaluation of seminar papers. Verification of learning outcomes. to explain the concepts of music theory (HUVYM1 and HUVYM2) as a prerequisite for their practical use in didactics
sing and accompany simple children's songs on a keyboard instrument, write and play a simple chordal accompaniment, transpose the song into an appropriate position
Skills
demonstrate in practical exercises a good level of musicianship (especially rhythmic feeling) sing the repertoire of the songs to be learnt cleanly at least in the range of a child's voice play the required repertoire of songs and exercises on the piano according to the requirements of HRMŠ1 and HRMŠ2

intones purely children's songs without the support of an instrument, accompanies children's songs with stylized accompaniment, prepares instrumentation on simple instruments (Orff's instrumentarium, etc.), rhythmizes and melodizes nursery rhymes, creates own pop songs, uses appropriately musical expressive means, has a stock of musical movement activities with body play, aids, instrument accompaniment, has prepared creative activities
Independently sings and plays the piano cleanly in front of others (practicing the role of a teacher in kindergarten), plays a simple song from a songbook (melody and accompaniment), actively participates in various musical roles in a group, sings a staggered major and minor fifth chord, repeats a melodic passage in the singing position of a preschool child, uses musical and movement parallels in accordance with the expression and form of the music, knows how to play the body, rhythmizes and melodizes nursery rhymes.
