Course content
full-time study 1. Introductory lesson - the aim of the course, literature and other study resources, conditions for obtaining credit 2. Music activities and RVP PV. Weekly themes and integrated blocks and planning of music activities. Approach to music development in the Nursery, process or product of learning. Explanation of the term paper assignment. 3. Orff School. Rhythmic and melodic instruments. Elementary instrumental activities. Accompaniment as an expression of expression and emotion. 4. Instrumentation in the Kindergarten. Current possibilities of instrumentation. Production of own instruments. 5. Basics of harmonization, creation of own accompaniments. 6. Creative workshop - promoting creativity through instrumental activities of elementary improvisation of instrumental and movement. 7. Practice 8. Practice 9. Practice 10. Good Start Method - principles, examples. Linking music activities with everyday life in the nursery. Reflection on practice 11. Use of instrumental activities for general development (motor, emotional, social). Verification of learning outcomes - test 12. Verification of learning outcomes - analysis of work, reflection on didactic outcomes. 13. Preparation for the examination, awarding of credit

Knowledge
to explain the laws of the development of the child's voice, its specifics and concepts from the field of vocal education of children in kindergarten (components of vocal education, age of children in the context of voice development, vocal hygiene, methods of voice training, choice of appropriate repertoire) clarify the specifics of instrumental activities for children in the nursery school, including the relevant concepts (playing the body, developing rhythmic skills through playing instruments, ...) select the appropriate repertoire of musical activities and the relevant methodological procedures for them and apply them in the integrated blocks of the curriculum in the nursery school (practice)

sing a few selected songs with accompaniment and play rhythm instruments select and play a specific appropriate instrumental accompaniment to a song to fill the methodological range of children's rhythmic skills with concrete examples of activities to integrate specific musical activities, including appropriate methods, into their own practice at the Kindergarten

establish and defend methodological series of listening and movement activities together with the relevant concepts for both units develop and defend methodological series within all four types of musical activities to explain the laws of the development of the child's voice, its specifics and concepts from the field of vocal education of children in kindergarten (components of vocal education, age of children in the context of voice development, vocal hygiene, methods of voice training, choice of appropriate repertoire) naming the final goals of each activity (Where are we going?) and determining the direction of progress towards the goals of each activity (How?), taking into account the age and level of musicality of the child (For whom? How?) select appropriate examples in the final test to develop children's musicality in the context of their age and level of musicality development, demonstrating the necessary level of knowledge in the field to support their claims with specific examples (What?) based on their own experience, acquired knowledge and knowledge of the recommended literature (Where?)

to critically evaluate in discussion one's own practice from the point of view of higher education in the field of music to diagnose in a seminar paper the level of musical development of five children, to propose and defend a correct approach to their further musical development (part of the Portfolio) give their own examples of listening and movement activities suitable for Kindergarten and justify their choice singing intonationally clear, the position and range of the voice corresponds to the requirements for clear singing of children in the middle voice position (male low voice position - with support on a musical instrument)
