Course content
Active involvement of the PhD student in a block, full-day workshop. The focus of the workshop varies from year to year and covers different areas of classical and popular music, music didactics and music culture. It is prepared by teachers of the Department of Music Education and Culture and features prominent personalities of the Czech and international (invited within the ERASMUS programme) music scene. The creative workshop has a topical skill music pedagogical or music artistic character. Doctoral students prepare for the workshop topic in advance and prepare an evaluation report after the workshop. Example: The professional workshop will be a creative workshop scaled to innovative elements in elementary and middle school music education. The content will also include the use of interactive music education textbooks and their comparison with previously published textbooks at home and abroad. The workshop will be led by authors of Czech and foreign music education textbooks and experts from Fraus, a publishing house specialising in interactive textbooks.
