Course content
Intonation and rhythmic education in the choir. Types of churches. Basic conductor technique - clock schemes of the most common clocks, preparatory and closing gestures. More complex clock schemes, interim conclusions. Gesture splitting, gesture merging, overprinting, crowning, surplus clocking and sub-value. Tempo and its changes. Dynamics and its changes. Practical implementation of various folk songs and simpler synthetic compositions.

Knowledge
To master the basics of vocal techniques with a focus on choral singing. Orient in the main musical style epochs. Have an overview of the basic types of choirs.

Safely operate the basic clock timing technique.
Get a basic overview of the choir repertoire with all the basic types of choirs (child, mixed, female, male).
Assemble choir concert dramaturgy with regard to the type of choir and the character of the performance.
Interpret the choir work in the context of historical, aesthetic, informative, formative and social reflection on the continuity of musical development.
Skills
Flexible response to the conducting gesture on the sound form of the performed piece.
Structure the form and time quantification of the practice of individual choral compositions.
To independently analyze and choirmasterly interpret the selected musical work.
