Course content
1. Typology of Nazi camps (concentration camps, extermination camps, combined camps). 2. NS-concentration camp (KZ) system and its genesis. 3. "Euthanasia" program (T4) and the development of killing technologies (mobile and stationary gas chambers). 4. Einsatzgruppen (Babi Yar, "gas vans"), Fort VII, Chełmno nad Nerem (Kulmhof). 5. Auschwitz and Zyklon B. Cremation. 6. Ghettos and Operation Reinhardt. 7. SS-Sonderkommando Bełżec: laboratory of Operation Reinhardt camps. 8. SS-Sonderkommando Sobibór. 9. SS-Sonderkommando Treblinka: the most efficient camp. The first stage of operation (Irmfried Eberl) and reorganization intremezzo. 10. Treblinka: under Franz Stangl and dismantling the camp (Kurt Franz). 11. POW and concentration camp Lublin, commonly known as Maidanek. The end of Operation Reinhardt and "Erntefest". 12. Liberation of Nazi camps, informing the public, trials with war criminals. 13. Summary.
