Course content
1. Introduction to the Problems of the History Modern Period 2. Civil war and revolution in England 3. Main features of economic development in the 17th and 18th century (since the industrial revolution) 4. Culture in the 17th and 18th century 5. Struggle of the French for hegemony in Europe in the 2nd half of the 17th century 6. North and East Europe in the 2nd half of the 17th century 7. Western and Southern Europe in the 1st half of the 18th century 8. European power politics in the years 1715-1763 9. Development towards Independence of USA 10. Industrial Revolution in Britain 11. The situation in Europe before the French Revolution, French Revolution 12. The Napoleonic Wars, the Congress of Vienna 13. Historiography to the history of the Modern Period; Final Evaluation
