Course content
1. Communication lines electrical characteristics. 2. Reflections and its influence in digital communication lines. 3. Impedance matching for digital communication lines. 4. Protection methods against electromagnetic interference. 5. Optical communication lines - light sources, modulators, fiber optic, light detectors. 6. Fundamentals of power supplies linear and switched. 7. Fundamental types of switched power supplies. 8. Specialized components and devices for switched power supplies. 9. Electronics cooling methods: heat conducting, liquid flow, radiation. 10. Thermo electrical cooling, heat pipes. 11. Combinational logic circuits testing basics. 12. Sequential logic circuits testing basics. 13. Design for easy testability, Boundary Scan testing. 14. EDA tools.
