Course content
1. Introduction - types of buildings from the control point of view; individual regulation requirements 2. Structural subsystems of buildings - thermal zones, passive control elements 3. Building energy systems and their control 4. Instrumentation (sensor equipment)- basic instrumentation; measured signals and their specifics; processing and evaluation of measured variables 5. Fundamentals of building modeling and their components - basic types of model approaches and their use for building subsystems 6. Basics of system identification - basic techniques for identification of non-measurable parameters of models 7. Basics of control - field level control and supervisory control systems 8. Optimization of buildings energy systems 9. Multicriterial optimization - price, wear, user comfort 10. Monitoring of the operation of buildings and energy equipment - storage and processing of measured signals; methods for signal evaluation (analytic) 11. Predictive maintenance 12. Information and communication technologies - means of communication, data formats; ontology description of buildings / BIM 13. Internet of Things
