Course content
The elaboration of the bachelor's thesis is a necessary condition for passing the state final examination of the bachelor's program Civil Engineering - Buildings. The topic of the thesis is assigned by the Department of Mechanics. The supervisor will give the student detailed instructions on how to solve the bachelor's thesis in terms of professional and methodological and will give a schedule of processing. In the first phase of elaboration of the bachelor's thesis, the student gets acquainted with the corresponding context and design the concept of the building. The second part is focused on the processing of project documentation of the building in the specified range. The third phase deals with the elaboration of the expanding theoretical part. Recommended procedure for the elaboration of the Bachelor Thesis - Buildings: - Preparation of documents and input analysis of the building function in a broad context. - Research of literature and other sources, similar solutions from practice. - Study and design of variant solutions of the construction system of the building. - Selection of the optimal solution and its optimization. - Elaboration of bachelor thesis, argumentation of the final solution. - Elaboration of a seminar part of the work focused on solving of theoretical problem. - Preparation of a bachelor's thesis presentation.
