Course content
Week 1: Introduction to BIM design Week 2: Digital formats - file types. Getting acquainted with programs, workspace, creating floors, sections and views Week 3: Vertical elements (walls, columns), entering materials, defining styles Week 4: work with atypical constructions Week 5: Hole fillings Week 6: Creation of ceiling structures and floors Week 7: Stairs, types of stairs, railings Week 8: Furnishings, furniture Week 9: Joining multiple floors, setting up a multi-storey building, roof Week 10: Perimeter cladding, tables, room reports, area use scheme Week 11: Rendering, realistic display, outputs Week 12: Lighting, cameras Week 13: Credit week, reserve

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 22 hours per semester
