Course content
1. Application of building physics - repetition of the most important physical quantities, summary of requirements from the point of view of building physics for assembly structures - tasks of thermal engineering, acoustics, lighting and solarization of rooms, finding the "ideal" compromise according to these most important requirements. 2. Applications of building physics - thermal technical requirements for building envelope structures, heat transfer coefficients, thermal conductivity coefficients, thermal resistances and heat transfer coefficients, requirements for thermal insulation, principles of design and calculation methods. 3. Non-load-bearing structures - requirements for thermal and acoustic properties, design options, calculation methods, examples of possible compositions and designs. Insulation of buildings against cold, noise and humidity. 4. Partitions and dividing structures of contemporary masonry, monolithic and prefabricated partitions, plasterboards, glazed walls, movable partitions, dividing walls. Design principles and design principles. 5. Filling of openings in perimeter walls - wooden, metal and plastic windows, doors, shop windows, glass walls, shading elements and materials (blinds, awnings, etc. - types), construction, landscaping. 6. Floor and ceiling constructions. Functional layers of floors, their types, division and principles of design. Hot and cold surfaces, wiring in floors. Structural and functional variants of ceiling structures (fixed, prefabricated ceilings). 7. Surface treatment of building structures and plaster. Solid and prefabricated tiles, single-layer and multi-layer plasters, coatings, spraying. 8. Folded / sandwich constructions and light tires, suspended tires. 9. Roofs and roof cladding, flat roofs - requirements for design, their solution, types and uses. Force effects influencing the design of roof structures. Types of roofs according to use - non-walkable, walkable, mobile and green roof, coverings and slopes. 10. Construction of single-skinned and double-skinned roofs, ventilated - unventilated single-skinned roofs, solutions of double-skinned roofs, composition of plumbing, plumbing work, drainage, attics, details, solutions of thermal bridges. 11. Roof coverings, compositions, plumbing work. 12. Additional assembly constructions, modifications for installations, wooden, locksmith, glass and plastic constructions, management of installations in construction, conceptual solutions, types and compositions of constructions. 13. Building equipment and machinery in buildings - elevators, engine rooms, installation management in buildings.
