Course content
1. Legislation for building construction and building structures. Specifics of modern construction. 2. Principles of elimination of impacts of building construction on environment and human health. 3. The building as a living organism. Programming the physical life-cycle of buildings. 4. Modern construction management methods. 5. Trenchless technologies for earthworks. 6. Waste-free construction technologies. 7. Prefabrication in modern conditions. Spatial prefabrication. Just-in-time assembly. 8. Demountable structures. Dry-joints construction. Repeateable construction. 9. Progressive wooden buildings. Automated carpentry. 10. Integration of building structures and technical equipment of buildings (photovoltaics, lighting, HVAC systems, etc.). 11. Technologies for increasing the safety and resilience of buildings. 12. Technologies for brownfield redevelopment. 13. 3-D printing in construction.
