Defining Culture, Communication, Intercultural Communication Barriers in Intercultural Communication: Prototypes, Stereotypes, Racism, Ethnocentrism Language and Culture, Verbal Communication Non-Verbal Communication: Kinesics, Proxemics, Haptics, Chronemics Defining Cultural Dimensions, Context, Silence and Persuasion Culture and Identity, Individualism and Collectivism, Environment Uncertainty Acceptance/Avoidance, Attitudes toward Time and Space in Different Cultures High and Low Power Distance, Masculine and Feminine Oriented Societies Cooperating in the Global Marketplace: examples of application Presentations of seminar work Final exam
