Course content
The geography of tourism and its role in the world economy and in the sciences Leisure and tourism, recreation, recreation capacity, recreationology Tourism localisation, selection and implementation factors and tourism preconditions Locational factors and conditions of natural tourism in the context of sustainable development Locational factors and conditions of tourism social in the context of sustainable development Typology of tourism areas and centres, spatial organisation of tourism Types of sustainable tourism and in contrast mass tourism Tourism flows at national, international and global level in the context of their positive and negative environmental impacts Types of tourism attractions and possibilities of their use in domestic and international tourism International tourism - geography of tourism according to UNWTO Territorial aspects of the economic and social impacts of tourism on sustainable development Territorial aspects of environmental impacts of tourism on sustainable development Sustainable and responsible tourism Materials for each topic are available on Courseware, or in E-learining platform specified by course leader. Other information sources are specified on the E-learining platform. Verifying of students´ knowledge is based on those materials.
