Course content
Spa - history and its importance to tourism. Wellness and its relationship to the spa. Bathhouse departments and management. Balneo-devices and healthcare department. Marketing in Spa facility and industry. Spa economics. World and Czech spas. New trends and technology in spa management. Seminar lessons: Presentation of Spas and Spa business - example of best practice. Excursion - visit Spa business with the lecture. Solving a selected case study related to spa business (acquaint with study, situation analysis including an understanding of market trends, solution proposals, discussion)
