Course content
Topics to study: Tourism definition - basic terms and prerequisites Tourism and its development Tourism typology and specific services External factors influencing the tourism market Marketing principals in tourism International tourism - international environment and globalization Global, international, and national companies in tourism services Essential relations in tourism: economic, environmental, and socio-cultural. Multilication effect and TSA. Tourism destination - typology, basic relations, stakeholders Services in tourism I - specifics, accommodation and catering services Services in tourism II - transport, information, guides, animation Services in tourism III - TO/TA, MICE, health/spa/wellness, money exchange, insurance, customs Materials for each topic are during the semester available on Courseware, or in E-learining platform specified by course leader.
