Course content
1. Electric current conduct in semiconductors 2. Two-pole components 3. Transistor 4. Other semiconductor components 5. Circuit diodes 6. Low-frequency amplifiers 7. Oscillators 8. Direct current amplifiers 9. Switching circuits 10. Logical circuits 11. Other applications of logical IC 12. Memory. 13. Microprocessors

Knowledge
The students should have mastered the basic parts of the university course in general physics, their knowledge of electricity and magnetism is essential. They should have also understood basic mathematical operations of algebra and mathematical analysis.

Knowledge
The students will understand basic physical phenomena in semiconductors and by means of these they will be able to explain the functions of semiconductor components in analog electronics. They will be able to assemble components into basic electronic circuits. They will understand basic Boolean algebra and, by using their knowledge of elementary electronic gates, be able to create simple logical circuits.
