Course content
Students will gain practical knowledge in the application of the basics of mechanics in the workshop environment. Individual findings are performed in a manual and machine operations in the processing of semi-finished products (wood, plastic profiles UMT) findings are converted to various real technical equipment or didactic models. Contents: 1) Introduction to mechanics (statics) in workshop practice 2) Application summation of forces and moments of forces (clamping devices) 3) Application of finding the center of gravity of the body (sheet metal) 4) Application Solutions multibody system (trusses), measuring strain gauges on a model truss bridge. 5) Introduction to mechanics (kinematics) of workshop practice 6) Application of linear and rotational movement (machine tools, the peripheral speed, the cutting speed) 7) Application of knowledge of the kinematics of multibody systems (cam mechanisms for machine tools) 8) Introduction to the dynamics of workshop practice 9) The application of dynamics in sliding, rotating and general movement (crank and hydraulic hammer - Nov) 10) Fundamentals of metrology in the workshop practice, measuring the physical properties of the wood work with a hygrometer, an optical measuring device.

Orientation in the technical literature, schemes. The basics of the English language. Basics of graphic communication.
