Course content
Introduction to university studies. Physics as a science, motivation (physics in fairy tales, in everyday life). SI system, SI system reform. Conservation laws and their meaning. Basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and special relativity. Interests from astronomy and optics (optical illusions, atmospheric optics). Basic knowledge and points of interest from atomic and nuclear physics (use in forensic sciences). Specifics of physics at school.

Knowledge
No special prerequisites apart from a high school diploma are needed as the course is a part of bachelor studies.
