Course content
The students will analyse chosen short texts of recent literature written in German, which are typical for a genre or for a period for exemple short stories or poems of Ilse Aichinger, Ingeborg Bachmann, Bertolt Brecht, Thomas Bernhard, Ernst Jandl, Franz Kafka, Reiner Kunze, Petre Huchel or the authors of concrete poetry. The seminar can also be conducted as a joint workshop with students from the University of Vienna or Salzburg.
