Course content
1. Introduction basic topics of the course, recommended literature 2. Linguistic terminology I. 3. Linguistic terminology II. 4. Structuralism 5. Pragmatics, speech act theory 6. Psycholinguistics 7. Computer linguistics 8. Comparative linguistics 9. Discourse analysis 10. Generative grammar 11. Philosophy of the language selected hypotheses 12. Work with specific texts, discussion, criticism I. 13. Work with specific texts, discussion, criticism II.

Knowledge
Student has knowledge at the level of completed Bachelor degree at the Department of German at Faculty of Education at WBU in Pilsen. The student has knowledge of German language at level B2/C1 or higher.
