Course content
Lectures 1. Development of surgery , surgical specialties . Operation of operating rooms , operating room personnel . Types operations , general terminology operations. Types of gynecological and obstetrical operations. 2. Indications and contraindications for surgery. Operational risk , risk factors, ASA classification . 3. Preoperative examination and preoperative preparation . Informed consent , positive and negative revers . 4. Intraoperative monitoring of patients. Post-operative care. Post-operative complications . Intermediate care room , ICU, ER . Day surgery . 5. The wound , wound healing, wound care , care of the drains . Disorders of wound healing. 6. Fundamentals of Traumatology , types of injuries. 7. Head and Neck Surgery . 8. Surgery of the chest. 9. Abdominal surgery . 10. Surgery bone diseases . Practicals 1. The issue of the treatment of the surgical ward. 2. Long-term preoperative preparation . Psychological preoperative preparation . 3. Short-term and immediate preoperative preparation . 4. Care in the performance perspective of nurses. Post-operative care. 5. Nursing process of a woman after a small gynecological procedures , and after laparoscopy . 6. Nursing process of a woman after a vaginal gynecological surgery as onkogynekologickým disease. 7. Nursing process of a woman with surgical diseases of the head and neck. 8. Nursing process of a woman with surgical diseases of the chest and mammary glands. 9. Nursing process of a woman after surgery GIT . 10. Nursing process of a woman in trauma - multiple trauma , burns , surgical diseases of the skeleton.
