Course content
Lectures: 1. Anatomy of female reproductive organs 2. Menstrual cycle and its disorders 3. Infertility, endometriosis 4. Congenital malformations of reproductive organs 5. Gynecological examination methods 6. Inflammation in gynecology 7. Breast tumours, tumours of external female genitals 8. Tumours and pre-cancerous changes of the cervixand uterus 9. Tumours of the ovary 10. Urogynecology Practicals: 1. Practical exercises in the anatomy of female reproductive organs on models 2. Disorders of the menstrual cycle in the work of midwives 3. Care of a woman with impaired fertility by a midwife 4. Practicing nursing procedures in gynecology 5. Gynecological examination methods 6. Care of a woman with inflammation of the reproductive organs by a midwife 7. Practical training in breast examination and breast self-examination 8. Peri-operative care of women with pre-cancerous changes and cancer of the cervix and uterus 9. Peri-operative care of a woman with adnexectomy. Nursing care of women with chemotherapy. 10. Peri-operative care of women after gynecological plastic surgeries and TVT (transvaginal tape)
