Course content
Lectures syllabi: - Introduction to internal medicine, basic and special examination methods - Basics of safe pharmacotherapy in pregnancy (categories according to FDA) - Pneumology, haematology, rheumatology, endocrinology, diabetology, nephrology, angiology and cardiology basics with an account to given diseases in pregnancy. Patients treatment and nursing. Tutorials syllabi: - Issues of nursing care of patients at the department of internal medicine - Nursing process for patients affected by respiratory tract diseases - Nursing process for patients affected by cardiovascular system diseases - Nursing process for patients affected by gastrointestinal system diseases - Nursing process for patients affected by urinary system diseases - Nursing process for patients affected by metabolic disorders and homeostasis disorders - Nursing process for patients affected by haemal disorders - Nursing process for patients affected by endocrine glands disorders - Nursing process for patients affected by locomotor system disorders - Nursing process for patients affected by oncological diseases

learning outcomes
After having completed this course, the students are capable of identifying the main symptoms of internal diseases with special focus on internal diseases in pregnant women. They are capable of selecting an appropriate nursing procedure and make sense of the basic principles of therapeutic regimens including their possible negative impact on the course of pregnancy. The students understand the specifics of the care and the treatment of internally ill within the system of secondary and tertiary care, acquire the basics of evaluation (judgment) of the current clinical condition of an internally ill patient. They make sense of the standard diagnostic and treatment procedures and tests.
Studenti porozumí odlišnostem péče a léčby o interně nemocné v rámci systému sekundární a terciární péče, naučí se základům hodnocení (posuzování) aktuálního klinického stavu pacienta v interně.
Seznámí se s standardními diagnostickými a léčebnými procedurami a testy
