Course content
Curriculum: Ethical approach to patients and their families with regard to the age and character of the disease. Psychosocial problems of the disabled - causes psychological changes in congenital disability, the family of a disabled child, child development with congenital disabilities, mental adaptation to acquired disability, social significance of disability Identification of factors affecting the quality of life of patients. Quality of life - the concept of quality of life, approaches, methods, relationship values, quality of life to the patient's medical condition, the WHO model, the most widely used questionnaires The communication skills of nurses with problem groups of patients (depression, dementia ...) Communication skills sisters with aggressive patient Communication and interpersonal skills sisters with people with intellectual disabilities Overview of drugs abused in the Czech Republic and their properties, health and legal aspects related to drug abuse and addiction. Problems associated with drug use - drug effects on the psyche, phases of drug addiction, somatic effects of drugs, organic brain syndrome, social aspects of drug use, addiction treatment, prevention, oš.dg. Disorders associated with the use of alcohol - alcohol and society, the effects of alcohol on the body, psychological effects, addiction therapy, delirium tremens, cognitive changes, nursing diagnosis., Scoring test. The issue of domestic violence - causes, signs of domestic violence, classification, stage, actors, impacts, people affected by domestic violence in healthcare facilities, communicating with people affected by domestic violence Supporting techniques for coping with the workload, support techniques in communication with an aggressive patient communication to specific groups of patients, stress, supervision, mental hygiene, relaxation seminars: Communication in difficult situations Practical training in support techniques used in nursing care Quality of life in health and disease Possibilities of coping with stress. Increasing the resistance to stress. Self-reflection. Nursing problems of patients with addiction Nursing problems of patients with delirium tremens Supervision - Balint group
