Course content
Seminars - Concept of crisis, typology of crises. Crisis intervention, its forms, stages and procedures. - Personality characteristics of the crisis intervention worker. Legal and ethical aspects of KI. Loss as a crisis. - KI in case of functional loss and its solution in nursing practice. - KI in relational loss, death of a close person, crisis intervention for survivors in the nursing process - KI in intrapsychic loss (circumstances of the diagnosis, family reaction to the diagnosis), help to the family, principles of crisis intervention in nursing practice - KI for role loss, retirement, loss of family roles, unemployment and their solution in healthcare and social facilities - KI in domestic violence (violence against children, women and the elderly) and its solution from the point of view of nursing practice - KI in suicidal behavior, help to the bereaved, the role of the general nurse Analysis of case studies from practice and training of KI communication skills during: - death of the patient, - disability, - role loss, - violence in the patient, - suicidal behavior.
