Course content
- General Surgery - distribution operations, indications, preparing a patient for surgery (general and special), postoperative care, postoperative complications and solutions. - Access to the abdominal cavity, suture and suture materials. Drains and catheters. Paraklické clinical and abdominal examinations. - Surgical diseases of the esophagus - esophageal achalasia, esophageal stricture, hiatal hernia, reflux disease esophagus, cancer of the esophagus. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. - Surgical diseases of the abdominal wall - hernias. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention - Surgical diseases of the stomach, duodenum, small intestine - injury of the stomach closed and open, duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, complications of peptic ulcer, benign and malignant tumors of the stomach, other diseases duodenal injury of the small intestine, Crohn's disease, benign and malignant tumors of the small intestine. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention - Intestinal stoma. Types of stoma. The most common complications. Aids for ostomates. Nursing care for patients with a stoma. - Surgery colon and rectum - open and closed injuries of the colon, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease colon, diverticular disease, colon cancer, familial adenomatous polyposis, colonic tumors. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. - Injury anorectal, hemorrhoids, abscesses, rectum and anus, rectum and anus fistula, rectal prolapse, anal incontinence, rectal cancer. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. - Cholecystolithiasis, cholecystitis. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. - Sudden abdomen - nontraumatic (inflammatory, ileus, gastrointestinal bleeding), traumatic. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention - Nursing care, sister, physical examination, assessment of patient needs, determine the nursing problem. Plan nursing interventions. Plan and implementation of education. - Specifics of nursing care for patients with surgical disease GIT considering its age.
