Course content
Ischemic heart disease. Arrhythmias. Inflammatory heart disease. Arterial hypertension. Etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment options, diet therapy, complications, prevention. Pulmonary embolism. Pulmonary hypertension. Diseases of arteries and veins. Etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment options, diet therapy, complications, prevention. Specialized nursing care for patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system and blood vessels: the sister physical examination, assessment of patient needs, determine the nursing problem. Plan nursing interventions, education of regime measures and implementation options. Consultancy.

Students are able to assess the current status of the patient with cardiovascular disease. Students are well versed in basic diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in patients with cardiovascular disease. Able to cope with emergencies, crisis situations using techniques of complication management, communication principles. Students are familiar with the basic education of the patient with cardiovascular disease.
