Course content
Surgical cardiovascular disease - congenital heart disease, acquired heart defects, coronary artery heart disease, aneurysm of the ascending aorta and aortic arch, pericardial effusion. Injury to the heart and great vessels - closed injury to the heart, open heart injury, rupture of the thoracic aorta. The principle of extracorporeal circulation. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. Peripheral vascular surgery - arterial embolism, thrombosis, occlusive vascular diseases of the peripheral arteries, occlusive vascular disease visceral arteries, diabetic microangiopathy, diabetic foot, aneurysm, arterial injury. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention Surgical diseases of veins - thrombosis of superficial veins, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins of the lower extremities. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. Specialized nursing care, physical examination sister, assessment of patient needs, determine the nursing problem. Plan nursing interventions. Plan and implementation of education. Specifics of nursing care in cardiac surgery with respect to patient age
