Course content
Introduction. Surgical diseases of the chest wall and breast - chest wall malformations, benign breast disease, benign breast tumors. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. Surgical diseases of the lung and pleura - lung abscess and gangrene, empyema, lung cancer, pulmonary metastases. Chest injuries - rib fractures, pneumothorax, broken sternum, lung injury. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. Nursing care, physical examination sister, assessment of patient needs, determine the nursing problem. Plan nursing interventions. Plan and implementation of education. Parathyroid glands, anatomy and physiology. Hyperparathyreosa. Diseases of arteries and veins in the neck. Investigative methods and surgical treatment. Physical examination of the patient with surgical disease neck and chest, evaluation. Monitoring of physiological functions, assessment. Management preoperative and postoperative care.
