Course content
Obesity, malnutrition, metabolic bone diseases - etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment options, diet therapy, complications, prevention. Nursing care for patients with eating disorders: physical nurse examination, assessment of patient needs, determine the nursing problem. Plan nursing interventions, education and implementation options for each disease, consultancy. Thyroid and parathyroid glands. Nursing Care. Osteoporosis - primary and secondary. Nursing Care. Disease cortex and medulla. Diseases of the anterior pituitary. Nursing Care. Specifics of diseases of the endocrine glands, metabolism and nutrition in geriatric patients, nursing care.
