Course content
Syllabus of lectures and tutorials: History and development of midwifery. The current concept of midwifery, ethical and legal aspects of midwifery. Human gametes, fertilization, blastogenesis, implantation. Embryogenesis. Placenta - its structure, function, shape anomalies and variations. Feto-maternal circulation. Water fruiting - the composition, function, development, disorders amount of amniotic fluid. Premature rupture, causes, diagnosis, and management of risk of pregnancy. Prenatal care about physiological pregnancy, her organization in the Czech Republic, examinations in prenatal counseling. Hard and soft birth canal. The fetus as an object of delivery. External obstetric examination. Inside obstetric examination. Credit test.
