Course content
Importance, systems and legislation of first aid. First aid procedures - examination of basic physiological functions (respiration, circulation, consciousness). First aid for respiratory disorders or respiratory arrest. First aid for cardiac arrest. First aid for bleeding. First aid for head, spine and spinal cord injuries. First aid for damage to the body by thermal effects. First aid for injuries due to electric shock. First aid for drowning. First aid for acute conditions - epileptic condition, hyper-and hypoglycemic coma, asthma attack, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident. Dressing and bandaging techniques and materials.
