Course content
1. Genital cycle and its phases. 2. Reproductive endocrinology and physiology in individual periods of a woman's life. 3. Menstrual cycle, menstrual aids, educational opportunities for midwives. 4. Care of a midwife in individual periods of a woman's life in connection with the menstrual cycle. 5. Prevention of gynecological inflammations. Complications and consequences of gynecological inflammations. Sexually transmitted diseases. 6. Midwife's care of a woman with sexually transmitted diseases. Educational activity in the framework of health promotion and disease prevention. 7. Sexuality as one of the basic human needs. Sexual cycle of woman and man, physiology of human sexuality. 8. Disorders and sexual dysfunction in women. Paraphilia. 9. Sexological counseling. Sexuality and disease. Sexual abuse. The sexuality of the disabled. 10. Credit test.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 12 hours per semester
  • Team project (50/number of students) - 4 hours per semester
