Course content
The subject ČD1VS gives basic information on the development of legal order, constitutional development and administrative organization from the beginnings of state to 1848. The emphasize lies in the connections between Czech and Czechoslovak legal culture and European and world legal culture. The subject enables to understand the continuity of law development in our territory and the historic roots of actual positive law.

to get a detailed overview of the history of the state and law (sources, most important institutions of public and private law) on the territory of the Czech lands and Czechoslovakia from the creation of the first state units to 1848.

to focus on the criticism of the sources in a broader context connected with the final evaluation of their analysis
