Course content
Characteristics of comparative analysis. Principles of selection and definition (or exploration) of the analysis elements, their description and possible interpretation. Principles of comparable pedagogical documents selection and work with them using juxtaposition method. Pedagogical documents of national, statewide or local character. Comparative analysis on micro level and macro level, chronological (historical comparative), synchronous analysis, quantitative analysis with various methodological attitudes. Hermeneutic and positivistic conception of comparative analysis.

learning outcomes
Knowledge
To analyze chosen foreign education system according predefined criteria and to translate it into Czech language. To analyze possibilities of usage of chosen elements of foreign education system in Czech education system (seminary work).
Analyzovat vybrané zahraniční vzdělávací systémy podle předem daných kritérií.
Analyzovat možnosti využití vybraných prvků zahraničního vzdělávacího systému v našem školství .
