Course content
The course is intended for doctoral studies. - Preparation for an international conference. - Preparation of a paper according to the conference committee´s instructions and rules for scientific publishing. - Active participation in the conference where the official language is a foreign language. - Actively presenting on such a conference. Alternatively, it is possible to prove the language competence by language training and passing a language exam of B2 level minimum at the Institute of Applied Language Studies (ÚJP) UWB. Or, to prepare, organize and realize at least one lecture in foreign language (after further detailed discussion with PhD supervisor and guarantor of this subject). In this case, ÚJP UWB ensures the language examination in coordination with the Vice-Dean for Research and Development.

  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 10 hours per semester
  • Individual project (40) - 250 hours per semester
