Course content
Introductory definition - meaning of private law, sources, development and principles of private law, civil law subjects, legal representation in civil law, protection of personality Objects of civil law relations, legal acts ? requisites, defects, legal events - requisites, defects, time-barred claims, time-lapsed claims General rights - right of ownership, joint ownership of spouses, shared ownership Law of inheritance Family Law Obligations - meaning, principles, contracts, consumer contracts Obligations - basic contractual types Obligations - law of offences.

Knowledge
The students will: - determine civil relationships and their individual components. - know in detail the legal reality, - explain the concept of legal actions - are familiar with the issue of property rights, including issues related to their protection - are knowledgeable of family law and inheritance, - are familiar with the general part of contract law, - have a very good understanding of all areas of general private law, - are able to interpret and apply legal norms regulating the fundamental legal institutes within this field
